AIChE @ UCSB’s Chem-E Car team will be competing with a home field advantage at this year’s Western Regional Conference. They will be racing against more than 10 teams from other universities on the West Coast, including USC, CalTech, and Stanford. Don’t miss out on your chance to attend!
Chem-E-Car at UCSB
Chem-E-Car’s purpose is for the members to explore the crossroads of chemistry and engineering by designing and constructing a car powered by a chemical energy source that will safely run a specific distance and stop. The team competes annually in the Chem-E-Car competition at the Western Regional Conference
We are open to ALL years and majors who are interested in joining our team!
We have three teams: Battery, Stopping, and Electronics.
